The Person Behind SK8 ICON
Hey family! I'm Roc. Born and raise in Stockton, California. I've been on skates since 1988 — I was two years old and I never looked back. I've traveled across the world to over 12 different countries roller skating and teaching all levels of skating from beginner friendly to advance roller skating techniques and choreography.
I've hit stages like the Apollo, been in tons of music videos and commercials, have skated across the scenes of the HBO: United Skates Documentary, have appeared on the Disney Channel, ran "The Best In The West," a 3-night skate party in Northern California with my pops for 15 straight years and started "RoC'n Da Bay" in Cali in 2024.
SK8 ICON is what happens when everything I've built over almost three decades comes together in one weekend, for one purpose, expansion for the community.

No. Your SK8 ICON™ Passport is your official event credential. It replaces a traditional ticket and grants you access to the experiences included with your selected Passport level.
Dress to impress! Each event will have its own recommended attire, including our themed Gala and Skate Night. A detailed dress guide will be shared before the event so you'll know exactly what to pack.
Absolutely! SK8 ICON™ welcomes skaters of all skill levels. Whether you're brand new or a seasoned pro, you'll find experiences, workshops, and connections designed for everyone.
Yes! Food and beverages will be available for purchase at select events, and some Passport experiences may include complimentary refreshments. Additional details will be shared closer to the event.
All Passport purchases are final and non-refundable. If you're unable to attend, please contact the SK8 ICON™ Team as early as possible to discuss any available transfer options.
