WHAT SKATERS ARE SAYING
THE SKATE CULTURE IS
GROWING AND CHANGING
WHETHER WE LIKE IT OR NOT.
The connections here will cause growth and evolution alongside the icons, industry leaders and passionate members of the skate community.
YOU'LL LEARN HISTORY, DEVELOP YOUR SKATE SKILLs, MAKE NEW CONNECTIONS, GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED AND ABOVE ALL, TAKE YOUR SKATE-LIFE IN 2027 TO THE NEXT LEVEL
// THE BEST PART
EVEN THOUGH, THIS IS MORE THAN JUST A SKATE PARTY
THIS IS STILL A SKATE WEEKEND
SK8 ICON™ will include late night rink skating, skate workshops, meet and greet, beach skating and a plethora of other activities that make a skate weekend complete. But this is where the gap is bridged from the old to the new...
This is a work in progress! But our goal is to go above and beyond the anticipated experiences we are curating at SK8 ICON™ so that we bring you a more intimate event where you can connect with other passionate skaters and industry leaders.
This will be a flagship event that brings together the pioneers of the past and of the future, while creating an epic 'end of the year' celebration for all skaters in the skate community.
That's the whole idea. We want you to be part of it.

SKATE CULTURE IS HAVING A BIG MOVEMENT RIGHT NOW
Most people are watching it happen from their feed.
You're going to see what it looks like to actually be in it — not another video of someone else's session, but your own passport into the room where the culture is being built.
We're Not Just Running an Event. We're Running a Celebrational Reunion for People Who Skate.
I'm not here to sell you a "conference." I'm here to build the room I wish existed when I was coming up: where the culture, the community, and the family are the whole point, not a footnote. Come as you are. Leave different.
Friday: Arrival & Aspiration
Hotel check-in and a Welcome Reception to meet your people before the weekend even starts. First Class Passports add the Yacht Experience & Dinner.
Saturday: Culture, Elevation & Recognition
Sunrise mindset session, free time in Miami, the SK8 ICON Awards Gala, and the ALL-RED Skate Party. VIP and First Class add ICON After Dark.
Sunday: Experience, Legacy & Connection
Hands-on workshops with elite instructors and the South Beach Farewell Skate to send you home different than you came.
LET'S BE CLEAR
This is not a "show up and watch" event. You're going to skate. You're going to sweat. You might feel anxious in front of people you may think are better than you. Good — that's the point. Growth happens in the room, not on the sidelines.
MEET:
The Person Behind SK8 ICON
Hey family! I'm Roc. Born and raise in Stockton, California. I've been on skates since 1988 — I was two years old and I never looked back. I've traveled across the world to over 12 different countries roller skating and teaching all levels of skating from beginner friendly to advance roller skating techniques and choreography.
I've hit stages like the Apollo, been in tons of music videos and commercials, have skated across the scenes of the HBO: United Skates Documentary, have appeared on the Disney Channel, ran "The Best In The West," a 3-night skate party in Northern California with my pops for 15 straight years and started "RoC'n Da Bay" in Cali in 2024.
SK8 ICON is what happens when everything I've built over almost three decades comes together in one weekend, for one purpose, expansion for the community.

You're not looking for amazing weather in December during a skate event

You're not willing to put yourself out there — new people, new skills, a little discomfort
